JuiceBox Charger Installation in Parker, CO

Licensed installation of JuiceBox (Enel X) Level 2 chargers across Parker and Douglas County — hardwire or outlet, WiFi setup included, permitted and inspected, with help claiming your Colorado rebates.

Why JuiceBox Owners Call Us

The JuiceBox (made by Enel X) is one of the most popular Level 2 chargers in Colorado — smart, WiFi-connected, and available in 32A, 40A, and 48A models. Whether you already bought one or you're deciding between models, we handle the full installation: the dedicated 240V circuit, the mount, the WiFi and app setup, and the permit and inspection.

A JuiceBox delivers roughly 25–35 miles of range per hour of charging on the 40A and 48A models — versus the 3–4 miles per hour you get from a standard wall outlet. For most Parker households, that means a full overnight charge instead of a car that never quite catches up.

What the JuiceBox Install Involves

  1. Panel assessmentWe check your panel's amperage and existing load to confirm it can support your JuiceBox model — 40A and 48A units need adequate capacity.
  2. Dedicated circuitWe run a dedicated 240V circuit from your panel to the charger location, sized correctly for your unit.
  3. Hardwire or NEMA 14-50We either hardwire the JuiceBox (recommended for the 48A model) or install a NEMA 14-50 outlet, depending on your preference.
  4. Mount & WiFi setupWe mount the unit, connect it to your home WiFi, and confirm it reports to the JuiceNet app.
  5. Permit & inspectionThe work is pulled to permit and inspected — which also matters for your rebate eligibility.

Hardwire vs. Plug-In

The 48A JuiceBox must be hardwired to deliver its full output — a plug-in connection is limited to 40A by code. If you have the 32A or 40A model, a NEMA 14-50 outlet is a fine choice and lets you take the unit with you if you move. We'll walk you through the tradeoff for your specific model and home during the quote.

Will You Need a Panel Upgrade?

Not always. If your panel has open capacity, we can add the circuit without upgrading anything. If your panel is older, smaller (100A), or already heavily loaded, you may need an upgrade — especially for the 48A model, which draws more. We check your panel's amperage and existing load before quoting so there are no surprises. See do I need a panel upgrade? and our panel upgrade service.

Don't Forget the Rebates

A permitted JuiceBox install in Colorado can qualify for the federal 30% tax credit (up to $1,000 residential), plus Colorado state incentives and Xcel Energy rebates. The JuiceBox's app-based scheduling also makes it easy to charge during Xcel's cheaper time-of-use windows. We make sure your install is documented to qualify and walk you through claiming everything. See our Colorado rebates guide.

JuiceBox Installation FAQ

How much does it cost to install a JuiceBox charger in Parker?

Most JuiceBox installs run $500 to $1,200 when your panel has spare capacity. A long circuit run or a panel upgrade costs more. We give you a flat quote before any work and help you claim the Colorado and federal incentives.

Should I hardwire my JuiceBox or use a NEMA 14-50 outlet?

Both work. Hardwiring is cleaner and required to get the full 48-amp output on the 48A model. A NEMA 14-50 outlet lets you unplug the unit if you move. We recommend the right approach for your model and panel.

Do you set up the JuiceBox WiFi and app?

Yes. After the electrical work is inspected, we connect your JuiceBox to your WiFi and confirm it reports to the JuiceNet app so you can schedule charging and use Xcel time-of-use rates.

Will a JuiceBox work with my EV?

Yes. It uses the standard J1772 connector, which works with every EV sold in North America except Tesla — and Teslas charge from it with the included adapter. Tesla owners who want a dedicated unit should see our Tesla Wall Connector page.
